Rupert Murdoch buys out Wall Street Journal publisher Dow Jones & Co. for a cool $5 billion dollars.
Previously controlled by the Bancroft Family for generations, some members of the family were reticent to sell to Murdoch , but he must have made them an offer they couldn’t refuse.
