Do We Lower The Bar For The Former Prosecutor?

12 March 2008

Is it a be big deal when the governor of New York, and former prosecutor is caught in a prostitute scandal? Does cheating on his wife with a prostitute say something about his character? Are we making a mountain out of a mole hill?
Do we hold our leaders accountable for their actions, or do we just look the other way because after all, everyone else is doing it?
Is it no longer important to hold our leaders to a high standard? Does integrity and honesty matter anymore? If our leaders don’t know right from wrong, are we supposed to?

Who’s leading here? What do you think?
