Hillary Comes Back, But Obama Still On Top…
Yesterday’s Primaries have left Hillary Clinton boasting a comeback and Obama counting delegates. With most of the votes counted, it looks like Clinton has won the popular vote in both of the big Primaries yesterday in Ohio and Texas. In Ohio Clinton got 54% of the vote to 44% for Obama, and in Texas’s Primary it was a little closer with 51% for Clinton and 48% for Obama, the Texas Caucus votes are still being counted and so far Obama leads that vote. Hilary has at least temporarily clawed out of the hole she was headed for after the last 11 Primaries.
Obama won the vote in Vermont wining 60% of the vote over 38% for Clinton. But Rhode Island broke the winning streak for Obama and the voters gave the state to Clinton with a win of 58% over 40% for Obama.
Clinton has battled back and won the popular vote in these two big states, but that being said, Obama still leads in the delegate count with 1451 delegates to Clinton’s 1365. There is still a long way to the 2025 delegates needed to win the nomination. So now what to do? The race is still neck and neck, and there are still several Primaries left to be played out, but the numbers still favor Obama. Read More: Clinton Wins Big, But Math is Troubling

With the votes being so close and no clear nominee like the republicans both candidates may have to compromise to remain on the final ticket.
