He’s making public his feelings that the Republican party should widdle their platform rhetoric down to a couple of sentences, mainly focusing on lowering taxes, shrinking the long arm of government and building a strong defense, following Ronald Reagen’s point of view.
While the moderates agree with Schwarzenegger that the party should align themselves more to the middle to capture more of the Democratic leaning Californians, the right feels that he is trying to water down the Republican values.
