S.F. to Guarrantee Health Care To All It’s Citizens.
While everyone else in our Government, meaning Congress, the President and Presidential Candidates just talk about Health Care Reform, the City of San Francisco is doing something about it. They may become the first city in the U.S. to guarantee Health coverage to all it’s citizen’s.
Individual States have taken the problem of Health care coverage under their wings and are making strides in coming up with solutions to this very prevalent problem. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the California Legislators are in the process of enacting a major health-care reform package. The states of Washington, Oregon and Hawaii, Maine, Vermont, Illinois and Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Colorado, New Mexico and, again, Washington and Oregon already have something on the books or are working on it.
While our representatives in Congress sit on their “laurels”, 47 million people go without Health Care Insurance Coverage in the U.S., or are losing their shirts trying to pay for outrageous Medical bills.
