US and Iran Meet at the UN!
Both the US and Iran will be making speeches at the UN on September 25. Washington is already stepping up rhetoric about the new “Middle Eastern Threat”, Iran. At the same time UN security council meetings are planned to discuss whether to extend UN Sanctions, for refusing to go along with the UN’s restrictions on their Uranium enrichment program.
“The Bush administration and many of its Western allies worry Iran is intent on building nuclear weapons, though Tehran insists it is exercising its right to peaceful nuclear power.”
